Why Ralsei is Actually Satan (Proudly Ripping Off Some YouTube Comment I Now Lost.)

A much mocked Deltarune theory is that Ralsei is actually evil.

However have such mockeries considered the number of parallels Ralsei has with Satan.

1. His look: So in the game, we have a androgynous, goat monster with odd horns and actions. Reminds you of anyone? That's right Baphomet, who's commonly used to stand in for Satan in Western Esotericism.

2. His location: So you may be thinking that such a visage must be mere coincidence--however Ralsei doesn't merely resemble Baphomet, he also lives at the very bottomost point of the closet Dark World, the darkest of the Dark Worlds. Where does Satan live?
That's right, the deepest point of Hell, the furthest from the light of God--which is thus dark. Not only that, but Ralsei is literally a Prince from the Dark, while Satan is known as the Prince of Darkness. Coincidence? I think not!

3. His actions: Ralsei recruits two heroes for a total party of three, Ralsei, Kris, and Susie. In the Book of Revelations, Satan is said to join two beasts for Armageddon, with a party of three: The Dragon, the Beast of the Sea, and the Beast of the Earth, to recruit as many people to their side before the Last Judgement. Now what does the Deltarune Party do? Recruit people to Ralsei's side! (The events will be explained later in this text.) Now let's inquire as to the nature of the Deltarune party:

  • Ralsei: Ralsei is a green colored terrestial (goat) monster. This obviously means he parallels the Beast of the Earth--the False Prophet, and while not Satan directly, there's nothing saying that Satan couldn't have been a False Prophet--he rebelled as Lucifer after all. Furthermore, Ralsei does act as a prophet in the game--he professes the Prophecy to Kirs, Susie, and the Player, acts as their guide, physically and spiritually in the Dark World, and has his whole life be built upon a prophecy hence prophet. However, not only do his powers falter in the later chapters, with him not recognizing Noelle and not knowing how to fight a Titan, while also hoping to change his own predictions--his actual teachings much resemble what Satan would say to oppose the Day of Judgement.
  • Kris: Kris's sprite is blue in the Dark World. What color is the sea? BLUE. Ergo Kris = Sea = Beast of the Sea! Not only that, but such beast is typically associated with the ANTICHRIST! Who mocks by at first imitating them, before turning on His teachings! Who is Kris controlled by, the SOUL, a God-like entity, who can force them to preach their will, until they break free and repudiate them. Hence turning on the teachings of a deity!
  • Susie is explicitly referred to as a dragon at several points in the book, and thus is obviously the Biblical Dragon. The only wrench in this is that Satan is supposed to be the dragon, however he is clearly Ralsei. However, such a small contradiction shouldn't discount the whole theory--Susie redeems herself from her evil in Act 1, and thus represents the concept of Redemption, while also questioning Satan's(Ralsei's) wishes with the prophecy. In Christianity, even a servant of Satan could find redemption, and while Susie not only does that, but also ecourages the other two to go to the Light World and find light (God) and improve themselves, saving everyone! (As to the Lesbian relationship implied to exist between her and Noelle--Monsters are not Humans, and thus our rules do not apply to them, even if we reject such relationships on a Biblical basis, which isn't even neccessary in many strains of Theology.)

4. The Plot of the Game: Deltarune is a story split into SEVEN chapters, with a fountain opened and sealed in each one. The fountains are implied to be opened by the Knight, with Knights being a symbol of honor and goodness in many cultures. Furthermore, in the Bible, the Lamb of God opens SEVEN seals to bring about Armageddon--which Satan opposes, just as Ralsei opposes the fountains, which are also implied to bring about the end of the world. Not only this, the world is ended by Titans, who have clear angelic parallels (Look at them!). Ergo, Ralsei is actually evil by trying to deny eternal paradise to those who deserve it with the end of the world, seeking to stop it and recruit others for it.
This also obviously implies that the Knight is a lamb, a young sheep, innocnet and capable of sacrificing themselves to aid others. Now, in who can we find a monster resembling a sheep--though a goat--who sacrificed themselves to save others in Deltarune's companion game, Undertale. ASRIEL! That's right, Asriel is the Knight and is working to further God's--known to the monsters as the Angel's--plans to save those who are good!

Lastly: He even admits it! When equipping the Jevilstail, Ralsei states "I'm a good devil, OK?" Who is Satan known as? THE DEVIL. Sure, he may stating that he is a good devil, but do you really think Satan would go "Yeah man, I'm evil lol."
